Well the following is from the oldest sister and I will tell you a little about
Robin until I get her actual input. She has been playing the 5 string banjo
since she was about 13 years old. She was more or less self taught with some
help from Dad, who also was self taught. In about 1987 she attended college in
Leveland, Texas where she studied music. There she improved her banjo playing,
learned to play the guitar and a few other acoustic instuments. After a couple
of years there she moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she was asked to play
with an all girl Bluegrass Band, called 'Petticoat Junction'. She doesn't play with Petticoat Junction anymore, but is still playing that great music with a band call Bulls Eye.(2002) She had planned on moving back to Canada a couple of years ago but has found that there is a lot of red tape involved and since she has a great job she loves and is playing music again...those plans have been put on hold again.
In July of 2001 Robin and 42 fellow members of her church, traveled to Chetwynd to do mission work here...well in July 2003 they are coming back. Everyone is looking forward to seeing the good friends we met in 2001
June 2002 saw three of Robin's sisters visiting her in Nashville...well did we ever get an eye opener...that is one busy city...it was great seeing her and to see the life she has made for herself in 'music city'. She then in turn, with a friend, came 'north' to visit family. Then in October and November her parents came down and gave her kitchen and dining room a whole new makeover..there is a pic in her photo album.
